Making “Lavender Love” Hybrid Cold Process Soap-Chapter 15 Creating Soap Art

This soap was created using a custom made soap clay baffle/column, a unique column pour, painting with squeeze bottles and blowing on soap and then finished with soap clay flowers. It is what I call a hybrid because many techniques are combined to produce the final, beautiful soap.

The soap shown in the video was made with this recipe:
18 oz of Organic Coconut Oil
18 oz of Olive Oil
15.15 oz of Refined Shea butter
13.7 oz of Filtered Water
7.2 oz of Food Grade NaOH
1.75 oz Lavender Essential oil
0.35 oz Jojoba Oil
Cotton ball size piece of Tussah Silk
