This song is by the band PUYA "Break it up" the English version of "Sal pa Fuera"
So the reason for creating this (besides just for fun) is because Puya has a kickstarter set up for a new album and to cover some expenses so they can headline an important festival in Cuba. So if you dig the band go out and support them. Hell you dont even need to give much and you still get the album. If anything check them out on the new US tour dates! Its been over ten years since they played here!

So just a coincidence that Mountain Dew has a drink called Kickstart? Well yes and no. The way I was first introduced to Puya was actually thanks to the Dew. In High school I got a compilation CD sponsored by MD and MTV. It featured Puya as well as bunch of bands such as Rob Zombie, Slipknot, MXPX, Powerman 5000, and Fear Factory among others.
The song in the original commercial is "Repetition" by The Willowz.
