#ICYMI: We've teamed up with NOWNESS to release a series of films centered around the theme of breaking cultural boundaries in dance.

The latest film in the 'Body Language' series is 'Barrio Sonidero.'

It was released in December 2022 and spotlights New York’s sonidero community and the transcendental power fueling unification through dance. 💫

As ritualistic spaces, sonideros have become a unifier for all ages, sexualities, and nationalities traversing the length of Latin America, threading a connection to the traditions of home for the New York diaspora, and Mexican immigrant communities across the USA.
