Bull elephant "Umoja" in Selenkay Conservancy

This is the bull elephant known as Ummoja feeding in Selenkay Conservancy (in Kenya's Amboseli region).

Selenkay Conservancy provides vital extra rangeland and a source of food and water for elephants and many other species.

It is income from our low-impact eco-tourism that pays for the conservancy land to be protected and kept as safe habitat for wild animals.

Whilst the Covid-19 pandemic continues to disrupt tourism, we are raising funds to support wildlife conservancies (and the Maasai communities that rely on them) through our Adopt An Acre for Wildlife plan.

You can Adopt An Acre for Wildlife from just US $35, find out more at https://www.porini.com/saving-wildlife-in-kenya/
