A Brief History of Burro Schmidt's Tunnel - See it at RawHyde's Adventure Days!

At the start of the 20th century, a man named William "Burro" Schmidt began digging a tunnel through the solid granite El Paso mountains. 35 years later he reached the other side, having dug nearly 2,500 feet through the mountain. This is one of the magical sites to visit in the Mojave Desert, and will be on one of the featured outrides from our Adventure Days event February 21-24. Come join us and see it for yourself!
