James Byron Dean was born Sunday, February 8th, 1931 in Marion, Indiana. He died on Friday, September 30th, 1955 on a lone stretch of highway in Cholame, California. Jimmy, as he was known to his family, was only 24 years old. In those 24 years, he managed to live a life that has become the stuff of legend. His untimely death and 3 iconic film roles have secured his place among the stars. In the 60 years since his death, thousands of fans still remember him and honor his life and work.
