Fully Automated Mass Production 3D Fiber Placement System (AFP)
- The AFP – System shown in die Video works with 16 individual controlled thermoplastic slit tapes @ a width of 12 mm each. Since we recommend for mass production a two-step process (AFP + consultation) we use here our patented edge fixation.
- The system can be adapted to customer requirements (e.g. number and width of tapes), or dry fibers or thermoset prepress can also be processed by changing the placement head.
