Press your neck and listen for the change

Ringing that won't quit? Free tinnitus guide: https://earlabs.app/shorts/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=desc_top&utm_campaign=theearlab

Press gently near the base of your skull and listen. Some tinnitus changes because neck signals share the same relay.

Upper neck nerves send position information into the brainstem.

Those signals can converge near the first hearing relay after the cochlea.

When neck input rises, the tinnitus pattern can briefly shift up, down, louder, or softer.

This is called somatic modulation, and it is one clue that body input is involved.
