Hurricane Dorian hammers communities in the Bahamas

Communities in the Bahamas saw severe winds, heavy rains and high storm surge on Sunday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 2, 2019 as Hurricane Dorian stalled over the islands.

Roofs were torn off in Marsh Harbour, streets were flooded in Nassau and Freeport, and trees blew in the winds in Grand Bahama Island.

The country's prime minister says at least five people were killed in the hurricane.
