Some things I didn't mention in the video:
1. There really isn't a glare if you're sitting eye level with the monitor. The glare you see on the monitor in the video is the backlit that I'm using to shine up the room.
2. This is better than a desk lamp in that it takes up less space and you can adjust the color temperature. Plus it just looks way cooler.
