Today I cut my hair curly for the first time ever. Every time I've cut my own hair in the past, I've straightened it first. It always felt easier and seemed to make the most sense, but after realizing that this has caused me to reach for the straightener even more often and probably also contributed to some of the negative feelings I've had towards my curls, it was time for a curly haircut. It feels like an act of self love that I finally realized I needed 🥺
