But how healthy is our science and the discourse around it? Are we hearing from everyone with something contribute? Are we prepared to acknowledge what we don’t know? And are we fully considering the impact of the huge decisions that are being taken?
In this special report, Newsnight takes a step back and hears concerns from eminent thinkers and health professionals about the state of the scientific debate during the Covid pandemic.
