There’s always a housing crash coming, isn’t there? Your uncle, your best friend, and many people on the internet are always hinting at a crash coming next year, but “next year” never comes. We’ve been hearing about a new housing market crash since the early 2010s—so where is it? Why aren’t housing prices at rock bottom? Why are housing prices still going up, especially in the 2022 housing market?

Dave Meyer (@thedataedli), VP of Data and Analytics for BiggerPockets, has had it with the internet housing crash forecasters scaring investors into analysis paralysis. While Dave doesn’t have a crystal ball, he does have decades' worth of data and analytics to look at in order to best predict what will happen in the coming years. So, is a crash on the horizon? Sadly, no, according to Dave, and he can back up that prediction to boot!
