I connected my garage door to wifi and Alexa/smartphone for $13 - Detailed how-to-video

So this house we bought a couple years ago has an garage door opener and while I can open and close it using fob's and from my car homelink button when within range, I can not open it if i'm @ work or away. Using an inching relay, I was able to bring my garage door into 2019 and I am now able to open and close it using Alexa and my phone! The best part is that it cost me $13 and there are no monthly fee's and I am able to control it via Alexa. I hope you enjoy this video and i'll be happy to answer any questions you all may have.
