Loctite 242 vs 243 and 2701 Equivalents for KTM or BMW Motorcycles

Both the KTM and BMW service manuals call out for Loctite 2701, a product that cannot be found in North America. When researching this product I found myself learning some interesting information about thread lockers that I thought I would share. In this video I go into detail about thread locker colors, versions, strengths and qualities and use Blue 242/243 as a comparison. I also provide information about using Red 271 or 263 as a replacement for 2701.
