A Morning in Red River Gorge - Clifty Wilderness - Moonshiner’s Arch - Hopewell Arch - RRG

Trying my best to get something up once a week! I’m behind on replying to comments and everything so don’t think I’m ignoring anyone if I haven’t replied yet.
On today’s adventure, we head to the Clifty Wilderness to check out a couple arches I visit at least once each year, Moonshiners Arch and Hopewell Arch. Both of these arches are significant arches but are nothing alike. The main difference being that Moonshiners Arch is a limestone arch and Hopewell Arch is a sandstone arch. Both of these arches are kinda tough to photograph because of their size. Maybe one of these days I’ll be skilled enough to get them both properly photographed.

Each of the arches only require a short hike to view them, and while they’re both easy access, these two have managed to not be vandalized on a regular basis. Which is a good thing because that means the people visiting this area are taking care of these amazing features and are leaving no trace.
