In this video I’ll unbox and give my initial impressions of the 2025 Acer Chromebook Plus 516, a clamshell format Chromebook with a large 16 inch display in a 16 x 10 aspect ratio.

This one is an engineering sample but represents one of the final configurations. It’s got the Intel Core 3 100U processor (very similar to the 13th gen Core i3 in some models), 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB Universal Flash Storage.
