Atta Cake
Ingredients
Banana -300 gms
Wheat flour -1 1/2cup
Jaggery -1/2cup/100gm
Melted unsalted butter-160ml
or
Sun flower Oil
Vanilla essence-1/2tsp
Baking Powder-1tsp
Baking Soda-1/2tsp
Badam-15
Cashew nuts-10
Raisins -15
Milk-5tbsp
Method
In a blender blend banana ,then add jaggery and blend ..
Then add melted room temparature butter and blend ..
Keep aside ..
In a strainer add atta ,then baking powder,baking soda ..
Strain ..
Then to the banana,jaggery,butter mix add raisins and crushed badam..mix well..
To this add vanilla essence and mix..
Then slowly add atta and mix in one direction ..
Then add milk and mix ..
Now to the cake tin add this batter and level it ..
Tap the cake tin to avoid bubbles ..
Now take the cooker ,place a vessel or steel round rod ..
Then place the cake tin and close the cooker ..
Remove the weight of the cooker and cook in medium flame for 30 minutes ..
Then open and insert a tooth pick and see,if it comes clear that means the cake is cooked well.. otherwise close and cook for more minutes ..
When the cake is done switch off the stove and keep aside and open after 15 minutes ..
Then takeout the cake from the cooker and allow to cool ..
cut the cake only after the cake is fully cooled ..
U can bake the same recipe in convection oven ..
for that preheat the oven in 180 degree Celcius ..
Then bake the cake in 180 degree Celcius for 30 to 45 minutes ..
So the healthy yummy Banana Atta cake is ready to serve ..
