Building your own rack for a crypto mining rig can be a cheaper and more available alternative to buying a ready made frame, and it's definitely more fun! This tutorial shows you specifically how to build a mining computer frame that can hold up to 14 graphics cards, and can fit up to 36 fans for cooling. When putting together a computer specifically for mining crypto currency, one of the challenges will be figuring out a way to mount a system with so many GPUs, as regular computer cases will not fit. That is where these open air mining frames come in. The open air design of these mining frames allow for passive cooling of your graphics cards, and with building a mining frame like I show you in this video, you can also add active cooling to your mining rig! I hope that by the end of this tutorial you will have learned exactly how to build a mining rig frame for your crypto currency mining computers.
