How to Reset BMW Tire Pressure Sensor

To reset your BMW tire pressure sensor, first ensure all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure, which can be found on the driver's side doorjamb sticker. Then, start your engine. Locate the "TPMS" or "Tire Pressure Monitoring" button, often found on the dashboard, steering column, or in the iDrive system menu. Press and hold this button until the warning light extinguishes or a confirmation message appears on the dashboard display. Alternatively, you may need to navigate through the iDrive system menu to the "Vehicle Settings" and then "Tire Pressure Control" or a similar option, and select "Reset" or "Reinitialize." Allow a few minutes of driving for the system to recalibrate.
