Hi Friends! In this video, I discuss the difference between Lockjaw (Trismus) and Jaw Locked Closed (Disc Displacement Without Reduction). These conditions can appear similar from the outside but are actually very different in terms of what's anatomically causing them.

If you're unfamiliar with TMJ Disorders, common signs and symptoms include but are not limited to: headaches, neck pain, jaw pain, ear-related concerns, shoulder pain, specific tooth pain, jaw joint noises, and/or episodes of the jaw locking or catching.
