In this video, we’ll show you what areas are offering free government money in 2021 and who is eligible to get this cash.

I’m Nicole from Low Income Relief, where we help millions of people save money and get free stuff.

Before I explain, we need to clarify some terms. You wouldn’t believe how many people search our website for “free government money.” Although there’s a lot of different programs that offer assistance with food, housing, and other specific needs, there aren’t necessarily a lot of programs that just provide cash with no strings attached.

In this video, we’re going to discuss those no-strings-attached free government money programs. They’re often referred to as Universal Basic Income, but the US pilot programs we’ve found are actually Guaranteed Income programs. There’s a big difference.

Universal Basic Income, or UBI, provides no-strings-attached cash payments to everyone, regardless of whether or not they need the money. That’s where the ‘universal’ part comes in: it’s given to everyone.

The programs that are being tested in the United States are not ‘universal.’ They have income limits and other restrictions that limit who can participate. As a result, these programs are called Basic Income or Guaranteed Income. Not universal, because they’re not available to everyone.
