Marvel Studios has become really good at keeping a tight lid on the secrets to their upcoming movies leading to some spectacular surprises come opening night. Despite the ring of silence that surrounds Marvel and the MCU, there are some secrets that manage to escape that black hole. One of the best ways to get a glimpse into what is to come is the toy lines that have to be sent to distributors and outlets months before the movie in order to be on the shelves when the movie opens. It’s toys that gave us our first glimpse at Professor Hulk in Avengers: Endgame and a similar leak regarding Eternals has given us a hint that there might be a boss above Kro and the Deviants that they Eternals face. Sersi, Thena, Gilgamesh, Sprite and the rest of the Eternals might find themselves up against a living aspect of the universe in Oblivion. Just like he did in Chaos War, Oblivion may be using the Deviants as proxies to bring about the end of all creation, forcing the Eternals back into action. This could all fit in with the multiverse madness that is happening across Phase IV including Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff as well Jamie Foxx’s Electro from the Amazing Spider-man making his way into Tom Holland’s Spider-man. Could Oblivion have been awoken by the Infinity Stones to pose a threat even bigger than Thanos? Let’s take a look.
