depression and suicide- my story

This gives me a lot of anxiety to post because this is my story of struggling with depression, anxiety, ocd and suicidal ideation. I've dealt with all those fun mental illnesses since I was 12 but it wasn't until I was 14 that I finally had the courage to ask for help. Even though I am doing so much better there are still days where I can't get out of bed but, in turn, there are some days where I can't imagine wanting to die. Recovery isn't linear and that's okay.

What inspired me to make this video was reading an article about Logic speaking on survivors guilt. Within the same weekend of March 23rd we lost three people to suicide. 19 year-old Sydney Aiello (who was a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school), an unidentified sophomore at Stoneman Douglas and Jeremy Richman, the father of Avielle, a six year-old who was killed in the attack of Sandy Hook Elementary school.

It's absolutely heart breaking. Sydney's mom said that she was struggling with depression and survivor's guilt as her best friend Meadow Pollack was killed in the attack.
