Special Parliament Session: Opposition Parties Divided, BJP, NDA Ask What's The Need | Op Sindoor

After India thrashed Pakistan in the Operation Sindoor, Congress led Opposition's demand to urge PM Narendra Modi to call a special session of the Parliament to brief the House on its details. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge had written to PM Modi to convene the session, which has been backed by other Opposition parties. However, NCP founder Sharad Pawar is not in favour to discuss operational details of India's counter-attack against Pakistan's military aggression in public. BJP and its NDA allies too have questioned the need to discuss such matters when the government officials are holding press conferences almost every day to let the country know about the details of Operation Sindoor and its impact.
