How to dissemble & clean the carburetors on a 2001 Yamaha R6. I show you step by step how to dissemble & clean out the carburetors on a Yamaha R6 and i show you the tools i use to do it. Dirty carburetors can cause a wide range of problems. If the motorcycle has sat for a long time like the one in this video it will have starting problems or won't start at all and that's cause by the needles sticking in the main jets. If the motor starts but has a hard time revving up between 1000-5000 RPM and then runs good above 5000 RPM its because the pilot jets are clogged. If the motor runs good below 5000 RPM but has a hard time revving in the 6000-15,500 RPM range then its because the main jets are clogged. You can clean out any carburetor with the organization method that i use.
