TRIP REPORT: Montevideo to Miami AA984 | American Airlines | Economy Class | Boeing 777-200ER

TIME STAMPS IN COMMENTS 👇👇 // WELCOME TO THE FIRST VIDEO OF 2021!!! 🥳

✈️ Today I'm taking you along on American Airlines flight 984, the once-daily, now just biweekly flight from Montevideo (the capital of Uruguay) to Miami! 🇺🇾 🇺🇸 This route has been around for around 15 years, and it's always been serviced by the Boeing 767, the oldest aircraft in AA's fleet (some were as old as 34!). However, after the retirement of the 767s due to COVID-19, this route is now serviced by a "newer" 777-200! It's not the most modern in the world (the one for today's flight is 22 years old) but with personal seatback screens and more seats, it is a considerable improvement upon the old 767!

This flight was nice! I enjoyed the dinner, but breakfast not so much. This is a red-eye flight so one always tries to get at least some sleep. Unfortunately today due to constant turbulence I only slept about 2 hours with a lot of waking up in between. Turbulence doesn't scare me at this point but I do find it annoying when it makes the plane squeak and such, especially since you feel it more at the back which is where I usually sit.
