I tried out temporary locs (inspired by Lilian Okibe) and shared a tutorial on them here https://youtu.be/9z0Q-BbSGMU. In this video, show you how to keep them moisturised. It is crucial to moisturise your natural hair while it's in a protective style. Keeping you hair, especially your ends moisturised will mitigate breakage upon removing the style. It is also crucial that your hair is stretched in such a style. Moisturising your twists and not stretching them can lead to shrinkage and resultant knotting, locking and meshing. In this video, I show you how to moisturise you 4C natural hair in temporary locs. This moisturising technique can be applied to other long-term protective styles, such as twists.
