Three Needle Double (Parallel) Bind Off for Sock Toes // Technique Tuesday

This bind off creates parallel bind off chains (one from each half of the round). The result is very flat on the purl side of the work, and on the knit side, it looks like it was grafted. The technique is demonstrated on a sock toe, but could certainly be used in other in-the-round scenarios.

The two needle method for flat knitting is demonstrated here: https://youtu.be/2HIFXN6x_JI

The free sock pattern that uses the flat method for the sock heel is Dagrun's Luggar. You can get the pattern here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dagruns-luggar
