Selling to Lending Tree Leads, Internet Inquiries and Credit Trigger Leads | Mortgage Loan Officer Sales Training

Given the current market climate, as of today, March 12th 2018, we find ourselves in a different environment where each lead we make connection with, means more than it did this time last year.

We find ourselves fending off competitors left and right and where it seems that all our leads worry about are free services, unrealistic rates and ludicrous expectations with reasoning and what we believe is ‘common sense’.

So now the question is, in a market where all the major sharks are hunting the same lead, how can we stand out and deal with these type of prospects?

I outline how in VIDEO ONE where we dive into the though process and logic of the inquiry itself and we focus on how to properly adapt to the inquiry in a way that leads us towards the desired result, a Sale. Followed by VIDEO TWO where I explain how to sell to a Lending Tree lead that inquires for a specific answer and how we can improve our chances to convert this lead type regardless of Rate or Fee.

I believe that whichever lead source we deal with in our origination efforts, they all share one common interest. They LOVE convenience and the feeling of being ‘taken care of’. This is why most of our competitors who are not reading this right now, those who are not adapting to the new way of selling and influencing as taught and shared @SalesRemastered, are losing to these lead types all the time. It is because their focus, their energy, their tone and their motive is to ‘take care of themselves’ rather than help.
