Low Ferritin and Hair Loss

Low ferritin without low hemoglobin is iron deficiency without anemia.

One of the signs of low ferritin is chronic hair loss.

If you have hair loss, it's essential that you increase your ferritin to 70 or more nanograms per milliliter for at least 3 months to stop hair loss and see regrowth occur.

Make sure you are also consuming enough protein to maintain the infrastructure you need to grow vibrant hair.
