Tension, Timber & a Floating Anchor! 🌲🪢

We were recently called out to a pine and spruce woodland in Aghabullogue to safely remove a semi-fallen Spruce for a residential client.

The tree had suffered a barber-chair split at the base of its main stem — a risky situation in any woodland. Our head climber Ben set up a floating anchor using neighbouring trees, then carefully climbed the compromised Spruce.

Suspended above the break, he dismantled it section by section, cutting away limbs resting on others until the main stem dropped safely to the ground below.

Expert rigging. Calm execution. Safety as always!
