1964 Ford Falcon hardtop "BigBird" video drive-by.

This is our 1964 Ford Falcon Sports Futura hardtop that we are in the finishing stages of our restoration. Our restoration goal was to build a "What if Ford had built a HIPO 271 hp 289cid Falcon in 1964" The car has the following features, engine and car modifications:

BODY - Paint is original color Phoenician Yellow, stock 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Sports Coupe hardtop body code 63C.
Palomino bucket seat interior.
ENGINE - Ford 289cid with a Comp Cams 270S solid lifter cam, p/n 31-333-4.
- Comp Cams solid lifter cam with .499 lift, 270° duration on both intake and exhaust.
- Cylinder heads are 1969 302 heads that have screw in rocker arm stud and guide plates added. Mildly ported heads with 1.90 and 1.60 valves. Harland Sharp full roller rocker arms.
- Summit Racing 600cfm vacuum secondary carburetor.
- Summit Racing Hi-rise dual plane manifold.
- 1976 Granada cast exhaust manifolds that are shaped similar to the Hipo 289cid "K" motor exhaust manifold.
TRANSMISSION - 1965 Ford C4 "Greed Dot" automatic transmission with valve body shift kit and a 2K stall torque converter. Lokar floor mounted shifter.
REAR AXLE - Ford 8" (open differential at this time) 3.23:1.
STEERING & SUSPENSION - Shelby drop relocated upper control arms, stock 1965 Falcon manual steering and suspension.
BRAKES - 1976 Ford Granada front disk brakes, master cylinder and proportioning valve.
EXHAUST - 2" Exhaust with H-pipe cross over, 2 Porter Muffler featuring a steel wool packed straight thru flow design.
