Rainford's Goby - Court Jester in HD - Swimming, Eating

The stunning and beautiful Rainford's Goby, also known as the "Court Jester" goby as a result of its shape and coloration. We were able to catch a quick shot of the Rainford's Goby doing a little eating and sand sifting.

There are many rumors that this very shy fish is an algae eater but, more often than not, you'll see it pick at the algae and sift sand. Our experience is that it is primarily not an algae eater and, if it does eat some, it will not make a noticeable difference. Hope you enjoy this short video.
