(Flight Review) United Premium Economy/Premium Plus for the Price of Basic Economy! 787-10 Newark - Los Angeles

United sold these seats as standard Economy Plus seats on these domestic flights. When I booked these flights they were booked as basic economy tickets, I was able to upgrade to Economy Plus with points then select a seat in the actual Premium Economy cabin. Note that I did this flight in July of 2020 and you can no longer do this as United sells the seat as actual Premium Plus seats for the 787-10. However, you can still do this on other aircraft with Premium Plus such as the 777-300, 777-200, 767-300.
