The Red Bull BC One 1v1 Cypher pits the top 16 bboys of their respective countries in a tournament style battle. The winners then fly to Japan to battle again to earn a spot in the top 16 world finals.

Australia's 2016 cypher was held by Sydney's Destructive Steps. Bboy Blue, representing Extreme Crew, SKB and his city of residence, Melbourne, stepped up to the plate to face the best bboys of Australia.
