1000 Mile Day Part 2 - Turbulence, Icing and Strong Winds. DA42, Billund to Helsinki - ATC Audio

1000 Mile Day Part 2! Second trip of a long day flight the Diamond DA42 from Billund Airport, Denmark to Helsinki International Airport, Finland. 600 Nautical Mile flight. Includes Standard Instrument Departure (SID) from Billund (EKBI), cruising in the Airways above Sweden at Flight Level 180, then a Standard Instrument Arrival (STAR) into Helsinki Airpot (EFHK). Air Traffic Control were amazing throughout!

2020 DA42, Registration N42LR, equipped with the Garmin G1000 NXI avionics. Use of Flight Stream, Garmin Satellite Weather and GWX 68 weather radar. Aircraft equipped with Flight Into Known Icing protection.

Use of Foreflight to aid flight planning and for Jeppesen Charts.
