Mercedes W109/108 My First Attempt at Zinc Plating.

In this video I'll show you my preparation and first attempt at zinc plating, followed up with a yellow chromate finish. This was the original finish on many of the various parts on a Mercedes. It takes a little time to set up, but the process is quite straight forward. The kit can be purchased from Caswell plating. All other equipment can be purchased from the hardware store.
