Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, has urged President Bola Tinubu to remove the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ibrahim Bakori.
Governor Yusuf accused the police of partisanship after the command boycotted the Independence Day anniversary parade held at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
Addressing the crowd, the governor described the police withdrawal as an attempt to disrupt the historic celebration long anticipated by the people of Kano.
