Revolutionary Faith
The Korean revolution is the cause full of great idea and rare faith.
"Don't abandon revolutionary faith though one may die". This slogan reflects the truth which has invariably prevailed in the Korean revolution for nearly one century and is a secret to eternal victory.
The path of revolution should be covered with faith.
The revolutionary faith is dearer than one's own life and it is inviolable and strong as it can never be bartered for anything. This is the transparent creed of the Korean revolutionaries who never abandon the revolutionary faith though they may die.
The revolutionary faith of the Korean people is the ideological spirit in which they closely link their destiny with the revolutionary cause of Juche.
The service personnel and people of the DPRK are a large contingent of those who fight to the last along the road of the revolution, firmly convinced of the validity of their revolutionary cause started in Mt. Paektu and of their one's own strength and future.
It is the valuable truth which the Korean revolutionaries enshrined at the cost of blood that the revolutionary faith guarantees victory and makes one's life glorious. In the course of remaining true to revolutionary faith at the cost of their lives the Korean revolutionaries underwent unspeakable difficulties and trials but they won all the victories and met glory regarded hardly achievable in the nation's history spanning five thousand years.
The revolutionary faith is the undying soul of the Korean revolutionaries and a valuable treasure of the Juche revolution.
The army and people of the DPRK will certainly bring earlier the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche, while deeply trusting and following Marshal Kim Jong Un, the sun of the revolution, just like ever-green pine tree, pure white germ and undying bamboo.

In the latter half of the 1920s when Kim Il Sung conducted revolutionary activities in and around Jilin, the rumour of the appearance of a great leader spread extensively, and hot-headed young men came to Jilin one after the other. They had participated in the communist movement with the ambition of achieving greatness, but had been disillusioned at the foul factional strife within the early communist movement. From the moment they met Kim Il Sung he had charmed them. What a great man! They concentrated on him, as if finding an oasis in a desert. They put their trust in him as the leader of the nation whom all people should look up to. So they called him Han Byol, meaning "one star", to express their wish that he become the lodestar of the Nation. But they were not satisfied with that. So great a man should be the sun, rather than one star. Hence, his name was changed to the characters Kim Il Sung meaning "becoming the Sun".

A grand art performance "Great Party, Rosy Korea" was given with splendor here Sunday (11.10) to celebrate the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
A floating stage which was set up in the middle of the Taedong River with the Tower of the Juche Idea for a background was peculiarly decorated.
The performance was given by 10 000 persons including famous former and incumbent artistes of the Mansudae Art Troupe, the Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble and the Wangjaesan Art Troupe, creators, artistes, teachers and students of art organizations in the army and society and art education institutions.
