ShareXchange - Investor Video
ShareXchange, a new business start-up, asked Animo to produce two short videos that could be used on their website, and a cut-down version of one that could be used as TV advertisement.
Animo decided to create a selection of quirky videos that would ensure audience retention, whilst creating an image of a company with a sense of personality and originality.
We adopted a ‘cartoon-drawing’ format, giving the impression that the on-screen images were being drawn right before our eyes by an unseen illustrator. A quirky and upbeat soundtrack played over this, as a narrator reads an extremely clear description of the company’s objectives and the services it provides. We felt that it was crucially important to inform the audience form the beginning of the primary objective of this start-up, which was to provide a platform where investors and SMEs could connect.
Two different versions of this video were made, each following the same narrative but differing in on-screen content. A 30 second cut down of one version was also made. The two longer versions were designed to feature as native content on the ShareXchange website and other social platforms, while the cut down would be used across various advertising channels.
The resulting video content that Animo produced for ShareXchange fostered an image of a start-up that was full of personality, while still getting the overall objective of the company across to the audience. The usefulness of ShareXchange was made clear to potential clients, appealing directly to their two key target markets set out from the beginning of the project.
