Various shots of the city of Newcastle, including the Cathedral, Grainger Street, Grey Street, a high angle view from Grey's Monument, the New Tyne Bridge, the Swing Bridge opening, exterior of the central railway station, where the Flying Scotsman is arriving. Various shots of the docks, cargo ships, tug boats, Tynemouth pier and lighthouse, view from the old Norman keep, views of the city from a boat as the sun sets. We travel down the Tyne towards South Shields and see the point where the river meets the sea.
The city shots show some nice footage of trams.
