WATCH: Ukraine Releases Drone Footage of Operation Spiderweb

Ukraine’s security service releases dramatic footage of its drone strikes on Russian air bases. The video shows drones weaving between parked aircraft, several of which are seen engulfed in flames. Some planes appear covered with tyres, possibly a last-ditch effort to confuse targeting or reduce damage.

President Zelensky hails the strike as “one for the history books,” confirming that the mission, codenamed “Spiderweb”, was personally overseen by him over 18 months.

Officials say the attack destroyed or damaged nearly a third of Russia’s strategic bombers in just hours.
