STEP BY STEP:
1) Open Finder --- Electronic Arts --- Sims 3 --- Create a "Mods" Folder --- Create a "Packages" Folder inside of your newly created mods folder

2) Download the resource.cfg file

3) Download Keka

4) Extract resource.cfg file and place it in your mods folder (Mods not Packages)

5) Download custom content at your leisure and extract using keka if needed (extraction is needed if your cc is not already a .package or a folder with a .package in it.)

6) once all cc is .package or a folder with a .package in it, place your cc in the packages folder which you created in your Mods folder.
