Almost nothing can freshen up the interior of your Mustang more than installing new carpet. This premium mass back carpet is manufactured by ACC Carpets, the top automotive carpet company and comes pre-molded for an easy installation. It is made from the same material mix as the original carpet (80% Nylon/20% Rayon) and features jute backing with a heel and toe pad just like the original carpet on your 1965, 1966, 1967 or 1968 Convertible Mustang.
What is mass back carpet? "Mass Back" is a tough, rubber layer between the carpet and the jute insulation that increases the form and rigidity of the carpet, while decreasing road noise. It virtually eliminates the need for Dynamat. ACC's Mass back carpet will look just like the original carpet once it is installed, but increases the moldability, sound deadening and insulation.
