Fallout 4 Mini Nuke vs Vertibird

As I was peacefully working on my Hangman's Alley settlement today, I noticed a few Brotherhood of Steel Vertibirds flying over the rooftops, and I wondered: would it be possible to hit a flying vertibird with a Mini Nuke from the Fat Man? This was the (spoiler: explosive) result.

The difficulty was set to Very Hard, which I believe is why the Vertibird was not felled by the single mini nuke blast.

It's surprisingly difficult, and nearly impossible from the ground -- since my Hangman's Alley settlement builds up to the roof of the surrounding buildings I was able to take my shot from there, which seems to be just barely high enough. In the video I hit it with the first shot, but in reality it took about 12 tries to hit, since the mini nuke follows a slow arc and the vertibird continues to fly during its travel. The first time I did it (off camera), I was surprised when the missile turrets got in on the action and knew I had to redo it for full effect.
