WhatsApp New Phone Same Number Without Old Phone

Steps
Insert the SIM card.
IMPORTANT: SIM card must be the same as your old phone's.
NOTE: If you've lost your phone, then contact your network operator (SIM card company) & request for a SIM card replacement with the same number!

Open Play Store on the new phone.
Ignore the first App as it's an ad & its logo deceptively looks very similar to WhatsApp!
WhatsApp is now called WhatsApp Messenger because Messenger = Facebook Messenger.

WhatsApp should be able to automatically detect your country, otherwise, select your country manually.
IMPORTANT: Mobile number should be the same as your old phone's!
Double check that you've entered the correct phone number!

WhatsApp wants to
1 - MANAGE THIS CALL, i.e., make and end the call on your behalf.
2 - ACCESS YOUR CALL LOG

Select "Verify another way".
I think this error could be because of 2 reasons
1 - WhatsApp cannot check your WhatsApp on your old phone to verify you before sending this SMS. So, it gives this 1 hour gap for the security reasons.
2 - After inserting your SIM card to your new phone, your mobile network provider didn't fully activated your SIM card! Continue watching to learn how to fix this…

Make sure this is your phone number! Wait for the 1 hour period to finish! Make sure you got good mobile network signal.
Open your Messages & send or receive an SMS in order to activate your mobile operator's network. After 1 hour! Make sure timer is gone.

IMPORTANT: If you didn't backup your WhatsApp to your Google Drive & that you've lost your access to your old phone (lost, factory resettled, etc.), I'm afraid, you've lost your chats. I

IMPORTANT: If you still got access to your old phone, it's still not too late, you could go back to your old & backup your WhatsApp and transfer again. Watch my video "How to back up WhatsApp"! Any questions, let me know in the comments?

NOTE: Because I'm still using the same WhatsApp number, my contacts wouldn't even realize that I've changed my phone. Even though, I don't have access to my chats, my contacts still could see my old chats!
