ICU Intubation Team
This video from Brigham and Women’s Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine show the steps for intubation and extubation of a COVID patient in the ICU. Intubation is demonstrated with an anesthesiologist and a second provider in the room (respiratory therapist or second anesthesia provider) to manage the ventilator. For actual patients, all providers in the room should be in full PPE.
