Eric Grauffel IPSC Class - Piru, CA 1.19.19

Had the rare opportunity to take a class with 7-Time IPSC World Champion Eric Grauffel this weekend. For 3 days we discussed and executed not only basic fundamentals of shooting but match strategy and training philosophies. Having taken classes with other world champions it was interesting to learn how different his techniques were. Some of the things you hear about stance, exits and transitions seem counterpoint to what he uses. But being the Jordan of our era it’s hard to argue that they don’t work!

Overall it was an incredibly valuable experience (and information dump) that will take some time to process. If given the chance I highly recommend it to other people, especially if you want to learn the mental game.
