Witch's Tea Party! Re:Zero Season 2 Episode 3 Review/Analysis

Echidna appears! Here's my review of Re:Zero Season 2 Episode 3, also known as Episode 28.

This episode covers the tea party conversation between Subaru and Echidna, the Witch of Greed. She provides a brief introduction to the other witches; Sehkmet (Witch of Sloth), Carmilla (Witch of Lust), Typhon (Witch of Pride), Daphne (Witch of Gluttony), Minerva (Witch of Wrath), and Satella (Witch of Envy). We are also introduced to another new character, Garfiel, who seems to be related to Frederica. Ram and Roswaal make their long-awaited return, and Emilia challenges the Sanctuary's trial. Something goes wrong, and Subaru runs in to save her, but accidentally starts his own trial. We're then left with a cliffhanger as he wakes up in Japan.

We also get to hear the ending song, "Memento" by Nonoc, for the first time.
